Flight Change
If you need to change your flight date, you can do so up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure, as long as the same route and same cabin are maintained as in the original booking. Changes are subject to availability at the time the request is made.
The cost of the change will depend on whether your booking includes Flexible Ticket.

Conditions
Changes are allowed up to 24 hours before the original flight departure.
The change will apply to all passengers in the booking, as it is not possible to modify it for just one person.
It is not possible to change the origin, destination, or selected cabin.
If you previously purchased a seat, we will refund the full amount in a voucher, so you can purchase a new seat for your new flight or use it toward a future trip. If seat selection is included in your fare, you will be able to select a new seat.
Date changes are not allowed for connecting flights. If you need to modify your trip, you will need to make a new booking under the applicable conditions.
If you made a mistake when completing your booking, you have 24 hours from the time of purchase to change the date with no change fee. You will only need to pay the fare difference, if applicable. You can do this by contacting us through any of the channels available in our Help Center.
If you made your booking through Iberia.com, a travel agency, or a third party, you must process the change directly through that channel.
How can I change my flight date?
You can change your flight date through the My Booking section:
Access your booking using your booking code and your email address or last name.
Click on “Change your flight”.
Select the flight, choose the new date, and confirm.
Complete the payment, if applicable.
You will receive an email with the details of your new flight at the email address listed in your booking.
In the following cases, the change must be managed by contacting us through one of the support channels available in the Help Center:

Bookings with infant
Bookings made with a promotional code
Flights with a purchased seat
Name Change
It is not permitted to change the name of a person on a booking. For this reason, when making your purchase, please make sure that each passenger’s first and last names exactly match the travel document that will be presented at the airport on the day of the flight.
If, when reviewing your booking, you see that the first and last names appear together even though you entered them separately during the booking process, do not worry: the system automatically combines them. This is completely normal.
If you notice an error and need to make a correction, you may request a free correction in the following cases through one of the support channels available in the Help Center:
Add or remove the first or middle name. Example: María Dolores → Dolores, or vice versa.
Correct letters in the last name. Example: Fernández → Hernández.
Correct a typo in the name/last name. Example: FernáMdez → Fernández.
Adapt the name to an official language. Example: Pedro → Pere.
Change the order of the last names or add one, as long as the first name and the other last name remain the same. Example: Vargas Pérez → Pérez Vargas.
