Minors, children, and babies

At LEVEL, we want everyone to travel comfortably, which is why we invite you to check the requirements for traveling with minors.

Between 0 and 2 years

If your baby will occupy a seat, you will need to book a "Child" ticket.

When occupying a seat, you must bring an approved car seat (EU quality label, ECE R44/03 or ECE R44/04) in which the child under 2 years old will travel, taking into account safety regulations.

If your baby turns two during the trip, you will need to book a "Child" ticket for both the outbound and return flights.

If your baby does not occupy a seat, you can use one of the bassinets available on the plane (available for babies up to 11kg and under 8 months). To request a bassinet, you must first book one of the designated seats that offer this service. Once a seat has been assigned, contact us through the Help Center to add a crib request to your booking. Please note that, depending on the fare purchased, advance seat reservations may incur an additional charge.

When traveling with a child, you are allowed to travel with their stroller at no extra cost. Generally, strollers will be taken to the airplane hold at the boarding gate so you can use them while at the airport, but some airports prefer to give you one so that you can check in all your luggage at the same time.

Between 2 and 11 years old

LEVEL does not offer an unaccompanied minor (UM) service.

All individuals aged between 2 and 11 must always travel with a person over 16 years old who is responsible for them.

Between 12 and 17 years old

LEVEL does not offer an unaccompanied minor (UM) service.

Individuals between 12 and 17 can fly alone without needing an accompanying adult.

Minors Traveling Unaccompanied (UM)

LEVEL does not offer unaccompanied minor (UM) service, so all persons under 12 years old must always travel with someone over 16 years old who is responsible for their care.

One Person Traveling with More Than One Child Under 5

We want to offer babies, toddlers, and their families maximum safety and comfort during the flight. For this reason, an adult may travel with a maximum of:

  • 1 baby (under 2 years old) and 1 child under 5 years old, or
  • Two children under 5 years old, or
  • Two babies (under 2 years old). At least one "Child" category ticket must be purchased, and a certified car seat (EU quality seal, ECE R44/03 or ECE R44/04) must be used for the baby.

Minors Traveling in a Group

Minors aged 5 to 11 traveling in a group will need an accompanying adult over 18 who flies with them and is responsible for their care. One adult will be required for every eight minors.
